Construction: 19th Century

 

Bagnac Castle was built during the 3rd quarter of the nineteenth century (1858) Antony by the Marquis de Saint-Martin (1826-1892), who died without children magnificent chateau was built on the site of an ancient fortress fourteenth century, destroyed during the Wars of Religion (the fact remains that the dungeon). From Gothic, it was done by local artisans on plans inspired by Viollet-le-Duc and 7 castles of the Loire. Yet classified historical monuments since May 1975; this interresant monument is a true masterpiece in Danger who completes every day to deteriorate.
